What are film photos?
Film photography is the traditional way photographs were captured before digital cameras. Instead of using a memory card, images are captured on rolls of photographic film and then carefully developed by hand at a professional lab.
Because film is a physical medium, each photo is intentional and cannot be instantly reviewed or retaken. This creates images that feel natural, timeless, and deeply authentic. Film is known for its soft tones, beautiful color, and the organic texture that many people love.
When film photography is included in your package, part of your session or wedding day will be captured on real film and professionally developed to create heirloom-quality images with a romantic, nostalgic feel.
FAQ
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
This depends on the time of year as some seasons are busier than others but for sessions usually 2-3 weeks, for weddings usually 6-8 weeks. If you purchased a package with sneak-peeks, you will get those within 48 hours after your session or wedding.
WHAT IF I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GO FOR MY SESSION?
Do not worry! Every package comes with location recommendations. I have a list of good spots all throughout San Antonio that I can suggest.
ARE TAXES AND FEES INCLUDED IN YOUR PRICES?
Yes! This makes it easier for everyone!! What you see is what you will pay. Nothing more, nothing less.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO SECURE MY SESSION?
Your session is not confirmed until you sign my contract. For sessions, a deposit is due 7 days before your session with the rest of your fees due the day of your session. For weddings, deposits vary on when they are due but all of your fees are due the day of your wedding.
do you offer family photos?
I do not offer family photos at this time.
Do you travel? and how much does it cost?
Yes!! My bags are packed! For weddings, travel fees will vary depending on location. There are no travel fees for couples getting married in Dayton, Ohio; Chicago, Illinois; or Morelia, Michoacán. For sessions, anything outside of 1 hour of San Antonio will require a $100+ travel fee depending on the location.
what if i'm late to my session?
I allow a 15 mins grace period for all sessions but please note that we will not make up the time that you're late.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS FOR WEDDINGS?
I do! I know weddings can be expensive so I offer payment plans for my couples to make things a little bit easier. Payment plans vary based on your needs but everything must be paid by the day of your wedding.
