I’ve been documenting weddings since 2019, but my love for photography began even earlier, back in 2017. Since then, I’ve discovered that my greatest passion isn’t just taking photos—it’s telling your story.

What makes my work different? I’m not here to stage moments or chase trends. Instead, I take a documentary-style approach, stepping back to let your day unfold naturally. FAQ

What sets you apart from other photographers?

What sets my work apart is my commitment to capturing weddings in a way that feels both honest and timeless. I blend digital photography with the nostalgic beauty of film to create images that feel emotional, artful, and true to life. Rather than focusing on stiff poses or fleeting trends, I document the genuine moments that make your day meaningful. As a bilingual Latina photographer, I also bring a deep appreciation for family, culture, and tradition, allowing me to connect naturally with couples and their loved ones. The result is a gallery that doesn’t just show how your wedding looked, but preserves how it truly felt.

How do we reserve our wedding date?

A signed contract and a $500 deposit is required in order to get your wedding on my calendar. A 25% payment is due 90 days before your wedding. Another 25% payment is due 30 days before your wedding. The remainder of your balance is due the day of your wedding.

Do you offer payment plans?

I sure do! I know how expensive weddings can be and I really try to be as flexible as possible with my couples. You can divide up your total in 12 monthly payments, or we can work something else out that best fit your needs.

When will we get sneak-peeks?

in 48 hours! I know couples are dying to see their photos so I try to send a good amount a couple days after to hold you over while I edit your entire gallery.

Do I have to have a wedding planner/coordinator?

I don’t require a wedding planner/coordinator to be present the day of your wedding but I strongly suggest you get one. The day goes so much smoother when there’s a dedicated person handling vendors, timeline, etc.

Do you offer timeline assistance?

Yes! About 30 days before your wedding I will send out a questionnaire asking for all the details of your big day. I will then put a photographer timeline together that I will share with you. I want to make sure we are always on the same page and there’s nothing that I am missing. As you’re working on your official wedding timeline, feel free to message me and ask me anything you need. Sometimes only photographers know when the best lighting is and other factors that could impact your photos.

What if I don’t need the engagement session that’s included in your package?

If you don’t want to do an engagement, we can always do a bridal or boudoir session! But if neither of those options work, then I'd be happy to substitute the session for an extra hour of wedding day coverage. Please note that the engagement session is included as a bonus experience and cannot be exchanged for a discount or deducted from the package price.

What’s your travel fee?

My travel fees vary depending on the location of your venue. Right now, I only charge a travel fee to venues that are more than 2 hours away from San Antonio. There are no travel fees for couples getting married in Dayton, Ohio; Chicago, Illinois; or Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico.

Will you Photoshop my images to hide any unwanted spots, wrinkles, etc?

Minor edits will be made to all of your images, but I believe our imperfections are what make us beautiful & unique. If there are specific edits you want, these will be charged according to the number and complexity of edits. However, I am not a Pro-Photoshop photographer so keep that in mind.

What equipment do you use?

I use all of the latest Nikon equipment. I always carry the Nikon Z8, the Z6II, 35mm lens, 50mm lens, and other items. For film I use the Holga 120n, Mamiya M645 1000s Nikon F100, and Contax N1.

Do you have a list of preferred vendors to use?

Yes! From video to wedding planners to florals, I have worked with some of the best in the industry and would love to share their information with you!

If you don’t have my date available, is there any way we can still work together?

Of course! I would be happy to share an associate photographer that would be there to document your day but then I would edit and deliver your photos. If this is something you are interested in, let me know.

WHAT'S NEXT?

STEP 01

Confirm your date

After filling out my contact form, you should have been redirected to my booking site. Once there, you should have picked your date and time of coverage. If you did this and you’re sure you want to book with me, confirm your booking in the email with the button “Complete Booking.” If you did not select a date, you can do so here: claudiagomezphotoz.pixieset.com/booking

STEP 02

Sign contract + pay deposit

After you confirm your booking, I will be sending you a contract + invoice to your inbox. Please read your contract carefully and let me know if you have any questions. Sign if everything looks good, make your $500 deposit and you’re booked!! After this, please review your invoice and take a note of when your payments are due. All payments will be made through that invoice.

STEP 03

Schedule your engagement session

After you’ve signed your contract and reviewed your invoice, it’s time to schedule your engagement session! Couples that book me for their wedding get first dibs on all my dates: CLICK HERE FOR MY AVAILABILITY. If you want to book further out than what my calendar will let you, just email me what date you’re thinking, the location, etc.

STEP 04

Questionnaire

About 30 daysor so before your wedding date, you will get a questionnaire from me asking for all the details of your big day. Please try to provide as many details as possible. This will help me put a photography timeline together that I will share with you.

The waiting game

Now it’s time to wait for your big day! As you are planning and booking other vendors, feel free to reach out with any questions you may have. I’m always happy to help my couples with anything they need outside of photography.
